What is HRIS?
HRIS refers to Human Resources Information Systems. It can be one or more software applications that help you keep track of all your employees and information about them. It is usually done in a database or, more often, in a series of inter-related databases. Some HRIS track applicants before they become employees and most interface to payroll or other financial systems. HRIS include reporting capabilities.
